    Quality Assurance Consultant: Short Term Insurance

    Job Specifications

    • Guide, support and provide advice to Short-term Insurance employees in their areas of development
    • Conduct quality checks and consider controls currently in place to mitigate the identified risks and determine their effectiveness in mitigating risks, making recommendations for improvement where required
    • Conduct call evaluations and provide comprehensive feedback to the employees and line management
    • Conduct system testing
    • Compliance adherence
    • Assist line management with solution to improve service delivery
    • Coach short term insurance employees
    • Assist management in the identification of potential process inefficiencies.
    • Provide assurance of compliance to statutory requirements, policies, and procedures when required
    • Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations for improvement.

    Required Qualifications

    • National Senior Certificate/ Grade 12
    • 30 FAIS credits or full FSCA aligned qualification on NQF level 4 is an advantage
    • Regulatory Exam is an advantage
    • CPD points as legislatively required

    Required Experience:

    • 2 years experience in Sales and Customer Service
    • 2 years Quality Assurance experience in Short Term Insurance
    • 2 years Contact Centre experience
    • Experience or knowledge of other insurance systems such as Cardinal 360 is advantageous
    • 2 years’ Coaching experience

    Team Leader: Personal Lines Underwriting

    Key Responsibilities: 

    As the Team Leader, you will:

    • Monitor and manage claims activities to ensure claims are handled accurately and timeously and in accordance with processes and procedures.
    • Reporting of claims and claim follow-ups in accordance with agreed processes.
    • Completing of month end processes
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Ensure that monthly campaigns are managed and completed successfully.
    • Daily monitoring and reporting on the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) active projects.
    • Daily measurement of team’s performance and reporting.
    • Manage the outstanding debt protection (ODP) policies.
    • Liaise with internal external stakeholders and insurers to ensure smooth service delivery.
    • Handle all escalated claims, complaints and cancellations.
    • Manage the retention team, retention efforts and cancellation ratio of policies.
    • Complete special exercises on cancellations and retentions.
    • Identify compliance risk and recommend corrective action
    • Implement and monitor corrective measures to minimise compliance risk
    • System testing according to new releases.
    • Ensure the resolution of all audit items in the Customer Service department
    • Recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new employees.
    • Proactive performance and consequent management
    • Facilitate on the job training as and when required.
    • Implement disciplinary processes and reward/recognition initiatives.
    • Coach and mentor the team to drive continuous improvement.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • National Senior Certificate (Matric)
    • Regulatory Exam (RE 5)
    • FSCA-recognized qualification on NQF Level 4
    • 2-3 years’ claims experience within the short-term insurance industry, in a Contact Centre environment
    • 2-3 years’ experience in a supervisory role 
    • Valid Driver’s License (manual transmission)

    Short term Insurance Telesales Consultant

    Job Outputs:

    • Timeous follow up on leads
    • Delivering quotes and sales via an outbound process
    • Quote existing and new members
    • Convert quotations to sales, in line with the minimum monthly targets
    • Contact potential members and underwrite policies

    Qualifications:

    • Matric/Grade 12 
    • FAIS credits on NQF level 4 as per FSCA legislative requirements
    • RE5 as per FSCA legislative requirements

    Experience:

    • Minimum 1 year outbound Contact Centre Telesales experience
    • Minimum 6 months’ Short-term insurance experience in brokerage
