    Design Engineer

    • We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our Customer Order Engineering (COE) Pumps team in Alrode, Alberton. In this role, you will focus on developing customized designs for customer orders and quotations, while also contributing to product care initiatives and providing technical support to manufacturing and other COE teams worldwide.

    • Creates 3D models utilizing Metso current design software.
    • Creates manufacturing drawings, based on standard designs and calculations.

    • Assist by creation of part numbers on Business system.

    WHO YOU ARE

    • Experience of designing using standard machine elements and construction steel materials.
    • Experience of designing centrifugal pumps or similar machines, castings, and welded design

    Proposal Engineer - Bulk Material Handling

    • The Proposal Engineer will be part of a collaborative, globally connected Commercial Support team that drives sales success across Metso’s Market Areas.     WHAT YOU WILL DO

    Project Engineer - Bulk Material Handling

    • We are looking for a Project Engineer - Bulk Material Handling to spearhead the creation and refinement of technical data, engineering designs, and specifications for bulk material handling infrastructure throughout South Africa’s port network.     WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Develop and maintain Quality Management Plans (QMPs) aligned with ISO 9001:2015 / SANS 9001 and project-specific requirements.
    • Integrate SANS standards relevant to lifting equipment, conveyors, and structural components (e.g., SANS 10375, SANS 1595, SANS 2408).
    • Align quality objectives with the National Ports Act (No. 12 of 2005) and Port Regulations.
    • Ensure adherence to Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) rules and guidelines.

    Project Manager

    • We are seeking a Development Project Manager to join our aftermarket Process and Data Management, Project Management team. You will be responsible for driving challenging development project initiatives contributing to Metso´s future strategic and operative capabilities, which include the development of existing and to-be-defined processes, related data flows, operations and driving the change management of the project topic within 2 aftermarket business areas and related operational functions.
