    Group Tax Manager: Africa

    POSITION OVERVIEW

    • The environment in which these businesses operate are complex and subject to ongoing challenge and change as the company beds down its presence in Europe in addition to be exposed to constant changes in legislation and audits in the region. The Group Tax Manager Africa role takes care of tax affairs of approximately one third of the Group’s tax presence.
    • The successful incumbent will work with the team of tax specialists, technology specialists, colleagues, and business to implement that strategy in the region.

    ROLE PURPOSE

    • To provide support to the Group Tax Executive by controlling the tax affairs, including providing advice, of individual companies in the assign region ensuring that the Group meets its tax obligations.

    Master Data Manager (On-Site)

    OBJECTIVE:

    Responsible for overseeing the entire master data management process in SAP S/4 HANA for the SA Commercial Business. This includes managing and maintaining the accuracy, completeness and consistency of customer, vendor, material, and all other financial data in line with Aspen’s governance framework, standards and policies.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Data Governance Framework and operating Model 

    • Assist the Senior Reporting Finance Manager to develop and maintain Aspen Data Governance Framework
    • In collaboration with the Senior Reporting Finance Manager, Responsible for:
      • Polices
      • Processes
      • Templates
      • Design Principles
      • Data Governance Forum co-ordination and facilitation
    • Responsible for the execution of data governance activities at the direction of the Senior Reporting Finance Manager, in accordance with Data Governance Strategy, Framework and Operating Model.
    • Support the Senior Reporting Finance Manager to implement the overall Master Data Management strategy within the Data Governance Organisation
    • Assist to develop and maintain the overall Master Data Policies per Data Object
    • Responsible for developing and maintaining SOPs for the execution of the Master Data Governance Operating Model
    • Support the development of standards and rules per master data objectsMaster Data Maintenance
    • Responsible for data integrity
    • Responsible to oversee, create and maintain:
      •           Material Master
      •           Cost Centers
      •           Profit Centers
      •           GL Accounts
      •          Customer Master
      •           Vendor Master
      •          Business Partners

    • Responsible for maintaining all data objects on the Global Master Data System (GMS)
    • Ensuring the Global Master Data System (GMS) is aligned with the Local ERP System
    • Adhere to the Group Data Governance Policies
    • Adhere to all Local Master Data SOP’s
    • Responsible for Master Data Audits
    • Assist with all master data queries across the various interfaces
    • Responsible for maintenance of “Alternate Hierarchies" in TM1 by updating of cost centers and streams and divisions on material master.
    • Run and distribute monthly master data reports for each data object (GL Accounts, Cost Centers etc.)

    Data Quality

    • Responsible for overall Data Quality within the Data Governance Organisation
    • Provide input into the Data Quality Concept and ensure the  approach meets the needs of the Organisation
    • Monitor and measure the Data Quality Reports and ensure the analysis meets the requirements of the Data Governance Organisation
    • Identify any keys issues on data quality and escalate to the required KPI owner – Data Object Owner,
    • Provide input into key DQA metrics and assign and monitor KPIs for each metric
    • Maintain expert knowledge on implemented data quality tools and processes, identify and initiate continuous improvements to the data quality process and reporting capabilities.
    • Assist in data quality test planning and design, test data creation, and data requirements verification.
    • Conduct quality analysis and improvement, including execution of data quality audits.
    • Project Management and Data Initiatives

    Data Governance

    • Assist in ensuring Data Governance is embedded or built into relevant projects or project models, including the identification of data definitions, possible re-use of attributes approved within the information model
    • Execute Data Governance Activities in alignment with the overall Data Governance Framework and Master Data Management strategy with the guidance of the Data Governance Manager
    • Identify and propose data governance initiatives

    ERP Data

    • Responsible for all interfaces on master data from SAP to all 3rd party systems
    • Master Data Lead for any further projects involving Keystone Group Data Governance
    • Responsible for any other ad hoc Projects involving master data system enhancements and reports enhancements.
    • Responsible for oversight of NPL fields relating to material master interface into Service now/LMS
    • Service now/LMS upgrades on material master.
    • Service now upgrades on all other data objects.

    People Development

    • Actively coach and mentor direct and indirect reports and the broader staff, providing feedback and developing and growing employees to develop their technical and soft skills within the Data Governance Organisation
    • Introduce and train direct and indirect reports on Data Governance policies and procedures
    • Provide leadership and expertise to indirect reports- master data coordinators of different data objects.

    Other 

    • Support any Master Data related system upgrade, transition or project work.
    • Ad hoc Projects involving Master Data and system enhancements. 
    • Data analytics and creating meaningful reports

    • 3-5 years’ Experience of working in a multi-national company with diverse, global stakeholders preferred
    • Experience in a managerial role (3+ years)
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel with at least 2 years’ experience of Data Analytics
    • Data Management experience in Data Governance Projects (methodology/tool based)
    • Excellent Data Management skills in a leadership role (2+ years)
    • Strong understanding of master data management principles, data governance, data quality and data modelling
    • Strong understanding of the needs of data users in the enterprise, including transactional processing, reporting, and business intelligence
    • SAP/ERP data migration/integration experience, preferably in manufacturing and FMCG industries (Supply chain experience will be advantageous)

    Sales Representative - Vaccines (NG East, West and South Gauteng East, Infield)

    Objective: 

    • The Sales Representative is responsible for the promotion of products within a certain geographical area to Pharmacies, Nursing and Private Health Care Practitioners.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Commercial Excellence

    • Track Sales performance to achieve or exceed set area Financial budgets (Monthly, Quarterly and Full year)
    • Implement Marketing and Sales execution strategies to drive Focus and Total basket products
    • Manage stock at corporate/ hospital pharmacies, clinics and collaborate with KAMs/ Brand Manager/ Sales Manager for wholesalers replenishments
    • Develop a comprehensive graded (A, B, C, E, F &D) Customer list, and update quarterly in order to reach potential customers to position and sell Aspen vaccines
    • Map the area and segment Customers to ensure effective customer appointments planning, cost effective travel and acceptable customer frequency visits
    • Communicate Business approved Product’s key messages to customers and build positive trust-relationships to influence their choice for Aspen vaccines
    • Use available business customer engagement platforms i.e. Face-to-face, CME/ CPD Meetings, Webinars, Virtual, etc to create demand
    • Plan and spend within the allocated A&P budget to drive RoI customer engagement activities
    • Drive cross functional efficiencies and collaboration with key stakeholders across the business
    • Follow up with targeted customers, gather feedback on their experience with Aspen products and provide them with an ongoing customer support to ensure effective choice and use of the products
    • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management,
    • Report on adverse reaction (ADR) and product complaints (PQC)  within 24 hours through correct channels available, and ensure that all product complaints are resolved within the respective timelines
    • Develop area specific strategies and implement Tactical Action Plans (TAPs) that would positively impact the business and share best practices within the team
    • Maintain adherence business rules i.e., call rates standards, call logging adherence and ensure submission of monthly and weekly planners
    • Manage business expenses to improve of profitability of the vaccines division

    Value creation

    • Manage business risks by collecting and reporting timeously Field intelligence to Sales & Marketing managers i.e. NPL, OOS, Product discontinuations, etc
    • Identify non-existing business collaborations opportunities and initiate to improve total Aspen business
    • Monitor, analyze data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage and product usage to improve sales performance
    • Pursue continuous learning and professional development and stay up to date with the latest industry trends

    Compliance

    • Complete training on all Business SoPs relevant and implement daily in business conduct or in all customer interaction and activities

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • Suitable tertiary qualification would be an advantage i.e. B Cur, B Pharm, BCom or any related Health Sciences qualification
    • Minimum 1 year working experience in Private vaccination clinic (s) or Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical experience, in the Private market.
    • Must have a valid driver’s license
    • Existing relationships with key customers would be an advantage.
    • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Qlik view, Repwise
