    Group Talent Acquisition Lead

    Purpose of the Job    

    • The Group Talent Acquisition Lead is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving a unified talent acquisition practice and strategy across the organization.
    • This role ensures seamless integration with Talent Solutions, aligning recruitment efforts with broader talent management practices such as workforce planning, employer branding, internal mobility, and succession planning.
    • The role acts as a strategic partner to HR, business leaders, and Talent Solutions teams to drive a consistent and high-impact approach to acquiring and retaining top talent.

    Job Objectives    

    • Strategic Leadership Develop and lead the group-wide Talent Acquisition strategy aligned with business goals and workforce planning. Ensure integration with Talent Solutions to support end-to-end talent lifecycle management.
    • Champion a unified approach to talent acquisition across all business units and geographies.
    • Create a community of good practice to ensure all acquisition resources remain connected to the Talent Acquisition COE.
    • Operational Excellence Standardize recruitment processes, tools, and metrics across the group. Implement best practices in sourcing, selection, and candidate experience.
    • Define and implement the tools, processes and guidance for Group handling of processes such as Contractor Management and Biometric enrolling etc.
    • Support Executive Recruitment and facilitate recruitment capacity support to functional business areas as required.
    • Drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights and feedback loops.
    • Own and support ongoing process and technology developments to ensure talent acquisition activity is optimised and efficient across the group.
    • Collaboration & Integration Partner with Talent Solutions to align recruitment with internal mobility, skills development, and succession planning.  
    • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and People Practice Leads to ensure cohesive talent strategies. Facilitate cross-functional initiatives to enhance employer branding and employee value proposition.
    • Technology & Innovation Leverage technology platforms (e.g., ATS, CRM, AI tools) to optimize recruitment efficiency and candidate engagement. Stay abreast of market trends and innovations in talent acquisition and integrate relevant solutions.
    • Governance & Compliance Ensure recruitment practices comply with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
    • Monitor and report on key talent acquisition metrics and KPIs to senior leadership.

    Qualifications    

    • Degree in Human Resources or equivalent (essential).

    Experience    

    • 5 years in Talent Acquisition or equivalent role, preferably within a complex or matrixed organization. Proven experience in integrating talent acquisition with broader talent management practices.
    • Experience in managing Group or multi-brand, multi-brand-regional recruitment and resourcing strategies. Experience within the FMCG, retail sector or similar (preferred).

    Knowledge and Skills    

    • Strategic thinking and business acumen.
    • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
    • Expertise in recruitment technologies and data analytics.
    • Excellent communication and change management capabilities.
    • Deep understanding of talent lifecycle and workforce planning.
