    Marketing Specialist Open Market and Trade

    Principal Accountabilities:

    • Effective strategic planning and management of marketing plans for Open Market and Trade sector.
    • Conceptualise and create awareness of OUP brand with suitable print and digital marketing collateral.
    • Management of external events such as planning conferences and exhibitions, product launches and events.
    • Implementation of Annual Thought Leadership plan to support Open Market and Trade Sectors.
    • Maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Manage budget costs effectively.

    Requirements

    • National Diploma in Marketing or anything equivalent
    • Significant experience in educational marketing  
    • Knowledge of marketing theories and fundamentals of marketing strategies
    • Project management
    • Experience in event coordination
    • SAP, MS Office, Canva, Adobe experience
    • Driver’s licence (Code B)

    Facilities Manager

    Principal accountabilities:

    • Ensure a functional working environment by maintaining infrastructure and cleanliness in local offices, regional offices and warehouse.
    • Maintain appliances, equipment, security gates, plumbing, electrical, and irrigation systems in good working order.
    • Manage the facilities budgets.
    • Communicate effectively with staff, liaise with the local landlord, and ensure infrastructure repairs comply with health and safety standards.
    • Ensure appropriate space is available to staff as needed.
    • Supervise on building and renovation projects.
    • Manage company archiving activities to retention standards.
    • Ensure cross-divisional administrative groups operate effectively.
    • Recruit, develop, and manage talented staff to ensure optimal performance.

    Requirements

    Qualifications and experience:

    • National Certificate in Facilities, Business Administration and or equivalent
    • 5 year’s working experience in building maintenance or property management
    • Proven project management experience advantageous
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Knowledge of Administrative management practices and commercial principles

    Experience in:

    • People management
    • Maintenance of building equipment
    • Office space planning
    • Budget management
