Seeking a results driven individual to join our dynamic sales team to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned client base and/or market segment by effectively selling Macsteel VRN's products and related services.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Grade 12 (Std 10)
Knowledge of VRN products is essential – Stainless, Aluminium and Carbon Steel
Minimum of 5 years external sales experience.
Key account management is essential.
Technical drawing experience and the interpretation thereof is a pre-requisite.
CAD experience is essential.
Must be computer literate. Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and SAP experience is essential.
Excellent verbal / telephonic communication skills are a requirement.
Must be a team player.
Duties and Responsibilities
All aspects of external sales including handling of customer calls, preparation of quotations and processing of customer orders
Exceptional customer interaction and service levels.
Follow-up with customers to ensure completion of order requirements.
Meeting sales targets
Day to day liaison with stores, operations, distribution, and customers.
Quotes, costing and sourcing.
Liaise with Management on pricing (special, contract and normal pricing).
Provide market intelligence and activities to grow market share.
