    Junior Interior Designer

    Role overview:

    • We are seeking a Junior Interior Designer to support our design team throughout all project phases, from initial client briefing and concept development to materials sourcing, technical drawing compilation, client presentations, and on-site installations. This role is based in studio and reports directly to the Senior Interior Designer and Studio Manager.

    This position will be based in Greenpoint, Cape Town. 

    Key responsibilities:

    • Assist Designers and the Creative Director with developing design concepts aligned to the studio’s aesthetic and client briefs
    • Prepare furniture layouts, spatial plans, and mood boards to support design development
    • Support the creation of drawing packs, including electrical layouts, lighting plans, artwork layouts, and window treatments
    • Assist with analysing consultant layouts and helping identify potential design issues
    • Produce basic 3D views, renders, and visualisations for internal reviews and client presentations
    • Help compile detailed interior documentation: plans, elevations, joinery details, and finishes schedules
    • Research materials, finishes, furniture, and accessories, preparing specification sheets where required
    • Liaise with suppliers for samples, quotations, and lead times
    • Maintain organised project files, documentation, and adherence to studio standards
    • Participate in site visits to support the design team in inspections and progress reviews

     What you bring:

    • 1–2 years of professional experience in interior design (internship experience welcome)
    • National Diploma or Degree in Interior Design (or equivalent qualification)
    • Proficiency in Revit or willingness to develop skills quickly
    • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
    • Understanding of design principles, spatial planning, and material selection
    • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under supervision

    Product Onboarding Administrator

    Role overview:

    • As the Product Onboarding Administrator, you will ensure the accurate setup and maintenance of product data across multiple systems. This includes stock code creation, data capturing, supplier costings and product specifications. You’ll work closely with the buying team, with data capturing, supplier coordination, and product release processes.

    This position will be based in Greenpoint, Cape Town. 

    Key responsibilities:

    • Input product data into middleware and costing portals.
    • Create and share accurate stock codes on Syspro/Middleware.
    • Capture and update data on new and existing products.
    • Ensure all product details match approved buyer specifications.
    • Manage updating product data (codes and landing dates) as directed.
    • Assist with putting together information such as product releases for approval, to share with external teams – ensuring accurate information is captured as per the signed off specification sheet.
    • Input costings from suppliers in Middleware and ensure supplier’s specification as per specification spreadsheet.
    • Ensure that existing product updates to information on Syspro are actioned accurately and timeously as directed.
    • Coordinate samples & product information from suppliers as directed.
    • Handle day to day correspondence with suppliers as directed by manager.
    • Assist with administrative tasks as needed and directed by manager.

    What you bring:

    • Matric
    • 3-4 years administrative experience
    • Strong data capturing experience skills and system knowledge
    • Purchasing /stock systems experience
    • High proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
    • Strong numeracy skills
    • Experience with Syspro/Middleware advantageous
    • Knowledge of import/export procedures advantageous
    • Experience in a retail head office environment advantageous in a role of Allocator or similar.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
