    Frontend Developer

    Your mission
    On a regular day as a Frontend Developer at SaltPay, you will:

    • Lead the implementation of the products requirements on the frontend;
    • Work on the company's agile software development lifecycle, velocity, and overall performance against objectives and maintaining a culture of operational excellence and helping the team's high-quality deliverables for the frontend;
    • Partner with key stakeholders across the business including the CTO, Product Management, Quality, Infrastructure/DevOps and Security to advance the product roadmap;
    • Seek constant feedback from different users and data to help the team to prioritize and iterate on solutions;

    Your Story

    • 5+ years of experience as a technical lead or software engineer;
    • Experience working within a Scrum development environment;
    • Demonstrable familiarity with CI/CD process, testing frameworks and practices;
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
    • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, remote-first environment with a globally distributed team;
    • You are a team player;
    • You have trained people in frontend languages and frameworks such as: ReactJS, NextJS, Typescript;
    • You are comfortable leading the frontend development team in a big project;
    • You are passionate about building projects from scratch;
    • You constantly learn about new trends in your area;
    • You participate in team's discussions to improve the product you are working on;
    • You are knowledgeable in CSS for highly interactive web application;
    • You are comfortable participating in research regularly to clarify or validate assumptions;
    • You have constantly challenged products if they don't make sense to you;

    Good to have:

    • Experience using Node.js tools (Prisma, Nexus, GraphQL);
    • Experience with testing (Cypress, Jest);
    • Experience with CI/CD platforms such as ArgoCD, and CircleCI;

    Go Engineer

    Your mission
    You will work with a diverse team to help shape the future of our engineering department. You will be part of the whole feature development lifecycle, with direct access to a wealth of customer feedback.

    You can expect that during a typical day, you will:

    • Write clean, secure, and well-tested code to solve business problems
    • Incorporate automation best practices to reduce the chances of repetition/waste and human error
    • Collaborate and communicate effectively within the team and across the organisation to achieve the team’s goals
    • Serve as a mentor and supporter for fellow developers and team-mates
    • Continuously work to improve while being empathetic and considerate towards others

    Your story
    To achieve all of the above, we are looking for some specific skills (by no means do you need master all these topics).

    • You are highly proficient in one of the following programming languages: Go/TypeScript/Java/C#/JavaScript - strong plus if you are proficient in Go
    • You have good knowledge of database design, and you understand the differences between relational and non-relational databases
    • You have experience in Public Cloud, are well-versed in using containers to package your application and Kubernetes to operate it in production
    • You understand how to take an idea to customers' hands from both a process and technical standpoint. Leveraging industry best practices in versioning, CI/CD, Agile, test automation, TDD, etc.
    • You enjoy owning your work from requirement gathering to implementation so that we deliver value to the customer. Your ownership doesn’t end when you deliver to production; you enjoy supporting and continuously improving your solutions.
    • You can design, plan and implement complex distributed solutions - bonus points for experience with service-oriented architectures and knowledge of message/stream-based technologies. You understand the value on breaking down work into smaller items, raising and tracking dependencies and chasing blockers.
    • You enjoy coaching and developing your colleagues. You value sharing information, pair-programming and code reviews.
    • You believe in treating others as you want to be treated, and you show empathy in your interactions.

    Senior Software Engineer

    Our Mission

    • Build tools and integrate systems to scale the effectiveness of products across the business
    • Collaborate and communicate effectively within the team and across the organisation to achieve the team’s goals
    • Serve as a mentor and supporter for fellow developers and team-mates
    • Continuously work to improve while being empathetic and considerate with others

    Your Story

    • You are experienced in modern testing practices like TDD
    • You can write software that interacts with datastores such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, BigTable, Firebase, Cassandra, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Neo4J
    • You are well-versed in using Docker for packaging your application and Docker Compose for running locally
    • You have experience in Public Cloud and SaaS, ideally AWS
    • You can set up effective CI/CD pipelines using tooling such as Jenkins/Circle CI/Github Actions
    • You can effectively use Git or other distributed SCM
    • You have worked with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
    • You can operate services that the team builds while identifying opportunities for improvements and keeping to the agreed levels of service
