Job description

Responsibilities:

• Process month-end journals and perform month-end closing tasks
• Prepare monthly journal file
• Monthly Balance Sheet account reconciliations and resolve
• Customer Profitability income statement
• Balance sheet and cash flow statement
• Creditors and cashbook processing review
• Review weekly creditor payments and monthly creditors and bank reconciliations
• Monthly VAT calculation and returns
• CID banking
• Maintain Syspro ledgers
• Maintain fixed asset register
• Perform month end procedures and run month-end function.

Requirements

Requirements:

• B.Comm Accounting or B.Tech Cost & Management Accounting degree
• Completed SAIPA articles will be advantageous
• Experience in bookkeeping up to Trail Balance (journals) and in financial reporting (management accounts)
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills and pro-active thinking skills.
