Technical Sales Representative at GEOTECH Resourcing

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing technical sales service and back up to customers in the region’s mines and quarries by advising on plant operating problems and assisting with quotations, placement of orders, and expediting deliveries.
• Compiling estimates and formal written quotations to supply spare parts , conveyor idlers, and repairs.
• Conducting surveys of machine populations to determine potential future sales
• Assisting with on site advice and assistance to customers experiencing machine breakdowns
• Compiling monthly sales call reports.
• Delivering parts when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• A tertiary qualification in mechanical or mining engineering or relevant experience.
• A working knowledge of the range of Mineral processing equipment - Non negotiable
• An understanding of the process of order entry, invoicing, stock control, and goods deliveries.
• Sound customer relationship skills.
• Willingness to make regular visits underground in the mines.
• Light motor vehicle drivers license
• Fluency in English

Candidates need to be based close to Witbank area.
