    Pricing Manager

    Job description

    Role Function/Purpose:

    The Pricing Manager Role is a Senior role in Business Support that Maximizes Margins for the affiliate by ensuring optimal Prices are deployed in the ERP in line with the approved pricing policy and ensure the right tactics are being deployed in enhancing company Margins. The Role is also responsible for Development of Pricing Strategies, Defining the Pricing & Costing Policies, Reviewing and approving the Profit and Loss Top Line for Retail, B2B, and Wholesale Segments, Develop and Manage the pricing Matrix, Design and Implement Pricing Processes and tools for each segment. Other accountabilities include, Constantly Analyzing & review Pricing and Costing data in Retail, BtB and wholesale segments for accuracy and monitoring of the international and domestic prices of petroleum products and timely provision of such information to the business.

    Requirements:

    Experience:

    • Undergraduate University Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, International Business or other similar field.
    • Minimum 3/5 years of Fuel Pricing or Purchasing experience.
    • Experienced in sales and inventory levels forecasting; price allocation and supervising.

    Skills:

    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Advanced handling of Excel and Power Point. Preferred.
    • Knowledge and experience in managing the Navision system.
    • Knowledge and experience in ISM (Information System Management), Navision, Calibrate, PROP system knowledge desired.
    • Bilingual: proficiency in English and other (French & /0r Portuguese)
    • Evaluating production costs to develop pricing strategies
    • Understanding the impact of pricing on profit margins
    • Developing and defining pricing structures
    • Coordinating sales, public relations, advertising and marketing personnel to build pricing models
    • Understanding contract negotiations and bids as well as proposal development
    • Understanding of Federal Pricing regulations
    • Strong commercial awareness to inform tactical & long-term decision making
    • Ability to think critically and strategically
    • Outstanding ability to analyse complex problems and deliver insightful and practical solutions
