    Environmental Lawyer

    Job description

    EOH Legal Services has an exciting Legal Advisor position in its Environmental Law Department.

    Requirements:

    • An extremely good background and understanding of environmental, air quality, waste management, biodiversity, water, mining, property and administrative law, the interpretation of statutes and co-operative governance.
    • The successful candidate will be expected to have a thorough understanding of the mining and heavy industry sectors.
    • Ability to actively and meaningfully engage with environmental managers, executive personnel and various government sectors.
    • Knowledge of Health and Safety and Mining Law preferable.

    Qualifications:

    • LLB Degree
    • Admitted as an attorney/advocate
    • At least 2 years environmental law experience

    The remuneration package is negotiable.
