    Senior Sales Representative

    Job description

    ROLE DESCRIPTION

    The Senior Sales Representative for Export will be responsible for increasing market share (units & value) in assigned countries by providing accurate and competitive quotations.

    To support, maintain and grow the Distributors client base within the New Installation and limited Modernisation Market for lifts and escalators.

    To actively particiapte with the Distributors and the end client during negotiations anywhere in Sub-Saharan Africa.

    KEY REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum tertiary qualification in Sales
    • Minimum 5 years Sales experience in a technical environment
    • Minimum 3 years experience in Elevator sales.
    • SCOPE configuration knowledge
    • Product knowledege - S3100, S3300, S5500, PORT, S9300, S9500
    • Must have industry and market knowledge
    • Strong business acumen, interpersonal and negotiation skills
    • SAP Knowledge is advantageous
    • Results and deadline driven
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Good estimating skills and understanding of commercial sales principles
    • Excellent customer orientation skills
    • Good presentation and computer literacy skills

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Liaise with external and internal customers on forward projects, current projects, traffic analysis and technical information to achieve export budget forecast.
    • To produce accurate configurations and pricing from SCOPE and liase with other MDC for special configurations and produce a final sales offer.
    • Provide alternative solutions that meet the clients budget and specifications.
    • Prepare and issue tender sales documentation to the distributors.
    • Follow up on all quotations statuses.
    • To actively particiapte in the engineering process with the engineering department to produce final layout drawings.
    • Track all projects by recording all activities using the in-house tools provided.
    • Receive full approvals of technical specifications and drawings.
    • Receive full sales documentation and payments from distributors for sales preparation.
    • Load all sales on SAP and issue to engineering for order processing.
    • Ensure that all distributors are trained and updated on all product lines.
    • Provide full support by representing Schindler in distributors countries and presenting presentations on the product lines.
