Job description

Purpose of the Role:

To elicit, analyze, validate, specify, verify and manage the real needs of the project stakeholders. To ensure a high quality system.

To analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improved efficiencies leveraging technology. To define these explicitly to the technology partner and follow through to successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive efficiencies in strategic business development, including business modeling, new business development processes, and process improvement and re-engineering.
• Gather business requirements and deliver them in well-constructed and complete conceptual specifications for further processing and crafting presentations to senior executives.
• Solution testing and verification.
• Stakeholder training
• Liaise with the outsourced business partner
• Prioritize requirements and create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups
• Impact analysis and risk assessment
• Implement strategies for gathering, reviewing and analyzing data requirements.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

• Relevant tertiary degree/diploma
• 3 years BA working experience
• Knowledge of the BABOK (Business Analyst Body of Knowledge) preferable
• Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) advantageous
• Experience in BA in the IT environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical and solution oriented thinking
• Negotiation skills
• Planning and Organization skills
• Apply best practices for effective communication and problem-solving
