Job description

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum N6 or S4 Electrical Engineering qualification;
• Millwrights may be considered pending abilities & experience.

Minimum Experience:

• Strong electrical / automation understanding and experience
• Hands-on mechanical knowledge and abilities
• Customer interaction & liaison
• Commissioning of machinery

• The willingness to travel extensively, locally and abroad

Technical Skills Required:

• Ability to read technical drawings (part & assembly drawings)
• Machine automation and control
• Electrical wiring / electrical fault finding
• Mechanical fitting and assembly
• Ability to do mechanical setup on a machine
• Good all round computer skills
• Knowledge on AC Motors and drives
• Knowledge on servo systems
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems
• Strong fault finding / problem solving capabilities
• A valid SA passport for future international travel is required.
