Sourcing Specialist at Conlog (Pty) Ltd

Job description

The successful incumbent will be responsible for identifying and implementing cost reduction opportunities for the engineering commodity based on the outcome of a spend analysis and detecting value and mapping opportunities, interpreting and drafting contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a sourcing strategy
• Conduct market analysis
• Manage contracts
• Complete demand planning
• Provide reporting

Qualification & Experience

• Matric
• Diploma in Business, Purchasing or Supply Chain Management
• At least 5 years’ experience in commodity management
• Experience in sourcing and markets
• Knowledge of prepayment and revenue management products
• Knowledge of Supplier Relationship Management system
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills
• Negotiation and networking skills
• Professional approach
• High level of integrity and confidentiality
• Drivers licence
• Working hours are 08h00 to 16h30
• Available to work overtime when required
• Be prepared to travel
