We are looking for a dynamic & charismatic individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have to successfully manage all buildings within his/her personal portfolio from a profitable, maintenance and safety perspective. The candidate will be based in Centurion, reporting to the Senior Property Manager and manage a portfolio with 8 shopping centres in Zambia.

JOB OBJECTIVES:

• To prepare and control the budgets for each building/shopping area
• To manage all aspects of the leasing process and the administration thereof
• To timeously collect and administrate monthly rentals
• To manage building maintenance and various contractors
• To manage staff and external service providers
• To liaise with tenants regarding complaints, requests, etc.
• To manage the day-to-day running of each building/centre
• To ensure all buildings/centres comply with health and safety standards
• To train and develop trainee property managers via on-the-job coaching and guidance.
• To complete monthly management reports
• You are required to have excellent knowledge on:
• Accounts – Finance basics – e.g. income and expense statements (5 years+)
• Knowledge of Contract (law) principles (5 years+)
• Knowledge of legal system and processes

Educational Requirements:

B Comm or LLB Degree

The ideal candidate must either be a Financial Manager or Practicing Attorney with 3 years experience.
