    Account Manager

    Job description

    Position Reports To: Regional Operations Manager / Account Director

    General Summary: 

    It is essential that prospective candidates have an extensive knowledge of print and very beneficial to have knowledge on all Marketing channels, including Above the line (ATL), Below the line BTL) and Through the line (TTL) marketing activity. The ideal candidate would be one from a Printing, Print sales, Marketing Production, Print Marketing or Advertising Agency background.

    Experience in Marketing in an FMCG company, Retail business, Financial Services, Advertising agency and, or Advertising production facility would be beneficial.

    The Account Manager will provide support to the Management Team. The role oversees all aspects of the day-to-day Procurement function within an Account and ensures compliance and SLA adherence.

    The Account Manager will be expected to complete their duties as part of an efficient team, and they will be authorized to carry out all operational activities. Reporting directly to the Regional Operations Manager and work closely with Client Services.

    The Account Manager is responsible for the day to day management of the client account holistically including client, supplier and staff management. The Account Manager will be responsible for developing long term relationships with clients, connecting with key business units and liaising between client and cross functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of products and solutions according to customer needs.

    Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

     

    • Management of the corporate Client Account holistically, including client, supplier and staff management.
    • Overall project management of the print and POS account.
    • Management of Point print processes and technologies within the respective account.
    • Control and management of Point product offering traffic, including print and POS
    • High-level account administration.
    • Engaging with Client Services and supporting the Customer Relations strategy.
    • Managing a team of Procurement Specialists and Team Assistants, where applicable.
    • Crafting, implementing and driving Point strategy through the Account.
    • Identifying opportunities and working with the Client Service team to upsell additional Point products and offerings
    • Financial and Account Management.
    • Product innovation.
    • Monitor reports on buying trends by buyer and suppliers.
    • Monitor closing off projects ensuring that buy orders tie up with sell orders.
    • Engage with entire project team on complicated projects.
    • Training of Client Personnel, Suppliers and Staff Members.
    • Client Management.
    • Customer relations.
    • Supplier Management.
    • Staff Management.
    • Ensure work is produced within operational guidelines and records in Noosh or other selected systems, are kept in a standard format.
    • Status meetings with Client, Point internal staff and Suppliers.
    • Conflict resolution.
    • Client Reporting in conjunction with the Client Service team.

     

    Desired Skills & Experience

    Education and Experience

    • Previous experience within a FMCG or Financial Services Company, Advertising agency or Advertising production facility advantageous. Previous Account Management experience is preferable.
    • Experience in a managerial / sales & operations position or environment (Advantageous).
    • Extensive professional experience in the Print Procurement Industry (POSM, Flat-print, 3D, Electronic, Digital, ATL etc).
    • Experience in procuring marketing services (print, POS etc) and supplier management.
