    Application Support Specialist

    Job description

    The role

    Reporting to the CH Spvr Applications Support, the Application Support Specialist role is focussed on providing applications training to customer both on site and remotely.

    Key responsibilities

    • Provide competitive product performance information to headquarters marketing or engineering group.
    • Lead or coordinate customer and employee training classes.
    • Provide demo support to local, regional and national customer trade events.
    • As part of a team of 8 people you will be travelling for about 75% to 80% of your time across differing location to meet with customer and conduct large group presentation at seminars.

    Qualifications and attributes

    • Clinical, imaging or network related experience.
    • Degree/diploma as a professional radiographer or related fields or equivalent practical experience OR Degree / diploma in medical physics / biomedical engineering
    • Professional experience in the radio-oncology field with radiotherapy equipment of various kinds
    • Good knowledge of and professional technical experience with microcomputers / PC based systems
    • Expert knowledge in radiation specifics applicable to medical applications
    • Knowledge of Clinical QA process flow in a radiation oncology department.
    • Like to work independently without supervision and can take decision and address problems.
    • Excellent communication skills, passion for teaching and love working together with other people.
    • Willing to travel extensively and great flexibility, adventurous and enjoying challenges!
    • Fluency in the local language and in English, both written and spoken
