Job description

The incumbent will be responsible for performing integration activities on the client's current Revenue Management system, and providing development assistance, moving from their current system (Java/Cobol hybrid) over to a strictly Java architecture, in line with the new Oracle standard.

This position is a 7-month contract.

The Integration Specialist will be required to perform the following tasks:

• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to collect ll Fusion requirements. Design, configure, develop, and support fusion Interfaces for all relevant SAP and non-SAP interfaces
• Develop JAVA, and XSLT mapping programs to trouble shoot or enhance integration scenarios
• Performance tuning, configuration, and administration of the Fusion environment
• Develop, manage, and enforce messaging and data management standards
• Develop procedures for maintaining the message integrity, security, and data recovery
• Support the Fusion interface testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of problems
• Develop process integration components for IDM for use by the application developers to integrate into business processes
• Create and maintain standards in the repository across all integration scenarios for IDM
• Define error handling, persistence, archiving, and monitoring requirements needed for overall integration architecture
• Compile functional and technical specifications
• Provide functional input to architecture designs and testing plans
• Complete unit testing of configured and developed messages, mapping programs and Fusion interfaces
• Provide functional input to non-functional testing, system integration testing, performance testing, automation testing and regression testing
• Defect resolution
• Knowledge transfer to IT resources
• Compiling and maintaining documentation of all deliverables
• Participate in project team meetings, workgroup meetings, and other relevant forums

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Main Responsibilities

• Collate, review, prepare, and update Integration Test cases on HPQC related to system interfaces with other applications through the integration bus
• Assist in the setup of environments to connect to the integration landscape for System and Integration Testing, Pre-Production, and Production
• Participate in Integration Testing of the New Version Upgrade on HPQC, and assisting in troubleshooting issues and defects identified during Testing
• Support Integration Testing and defects identification, assist in diagnosing / troubleshooting and resolving issues identified in Integration Testing
• Provide support and assistance in performance tuning of SQL scripts for batches, working together with the Batch Scheduler and Database Administrator

General Responsibilities

• Responsibility to translate functional specifications into technical requirements, and ensuring delivery of all technical integration requirements
• Responsibility to install, configure and setup of the environments, including mappings and modifications or customizations
• Develop Web applications within the context of a portal
• Document all code created
• Must be available during the testing phase of the project

• Report status of tasks to Team Lead or PM as required

• Participate in project risk assessments and mitigation planning and elimination

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Only respondents who meet the following criteria will be considered:

• IT Related Certification / Qualification
• 8 years IT experience
• 5 or more years Enterprise Application Integration
• Knowledge on the implementation of security requirements (certificates, etc.)
• Extensive experience on Oracle / SOA (BPEL, Mediator, Business Rule, OSB and AIA)
• Each item of the Respondent's Portfolio will be assessed by subject matter experts and/or key stakeholders and evaluated accordingly.
• A Minimum of 70% criteria match must be achieved for the candidate to be considered further.
• Candidates will NOT be considered under the following circumstances:
• Cannot demonstrate that they have completed more than one integration project in their previous experience
• Does not possess IT Related Certification / Qualification CVs with more than 8 years IT related experience
