Junior Accounts Clerk

Job description

DUTIES

Debtors
- Receive and process debtor invoices
- Send the invoices and statements to respective debtors
- Save the respective invoice electronically in the correct naming convention
- Assist with the debtors reconciliations
- File in the correct order as per the filing convention
Creditors
- Receive and process supplier invoices
- Save the respective invoice electronically in the correct naming convention
- Assist with the creditor reconciliations
- File in the correct order as per the filing convention
Budget
- Assist with the preparation of the budget
- Input the approved budget into Pastel for all companies
Bank transactions
- Process all banking transactions
- Assist with the preparation of the bank reconciliation
- File in the correct order as per the filing convention
Petty cash – Local and Foreign
- Process all transactions related to petty cash
- File in the correct order as per the filing convention
Credit cards
- Process all transactions related to credit cards
- File in the correct order as per the filing convention
Disbursements
- Analysis of the MSA and director reimbursements
- Prepare the monthly invoicing for the project companies
General
- Assist with any queries
- Assist with audit preparation
