Job description

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Develop end-to-end IT Security Framework including Cyber Security Plan.
• IT Security Policies & Standards.
• Ensures timely implementation of IT standards.
• Enforce robust IT and data security controls on ECC6, BW, BPC, BOBJ and SAPB1 (IT), SYSPRO, MICROSOFT and all IT Systems.
• Promote awareness of IT security.
• Conduct IT security related audits, investigate, identify and resolve IT security related issues.
• Ensure correct IT related access by monitoring and controlling business access and looking at segregation of duties.
• Deal with all security related incidents & service request from the helpdesk (Especially SAP authorisations).
• Report on IT compliance audit results.
• Coordinate IT risk related projects and initiatives.
• Continuously research on best practices in SAP and other IT systems and advise the relevant systems Managers.
• Comply with governance & compliance policies and procedures.
• Comply with Safety, Health and Environment standards.
• Gain an understanding what the suggested PoPI act will require and how will this affect SAP, SYSPRO, MS and others authorisations.
• Establish Continuous Support Program, Monitoring & Improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric.
• IT related degree.
• Minimum of 1 – 4 years’ experience in IT security & BCM development and implementation.
• Experience in IT management systems.
• Experience in system management and troubleshooting.
• Experience in IT Access Control, IT security and IT Module integration.
• Knowledge and experience in SAP systems.
• Knowledge of mobile technologies and services.
• Report writing skills.
