Key Performance Outputs:

The successful candidate reporting to the Security Compliance Manager will be responsible for the following:

• Detect, investigate and report all security incidences/deficiencies and non-conformances.
• Analyze risks, conduct trend analysis and ensure implementation of corrective measures.
• Monitor effectiveness of processes and systems.
• Test effectiveness of security operations, systems and processes (covert and overt).
• Support Management to mitigate all identified risks to protect airport infrastructure and installations.
• Validate, consolidate and report all mandatory compliance processes and all inspections and audits performed.
• Ensure compliance and operate according to ICAO, NKP and SACAA and other relevant legislation and all ACSA policies and procedures.
• Build and maintain sound internal and external stakeholder customer relations whilst balancing enforcement and professionalism.
• Respond to all potential unlawful interferences (misconduct) and airport emergencies.
• Short-listed candidates will undergo relevant background checks, vetting and medical examinations as per the company’s security regulations.

Technical Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such, will be required:

• The candidate must be in possession of Matric (Grade 12) and a SACAA Supervisory Certificate.
• A minimum of 3-4 years Operational Experience is essential.
• ICAO National Inspector Accreditation.
• NKP Certification and NKP Authorized Guard.
• SACAA Dangerous Goods, Safe Passage and Basic Aviation Security and Screener Certification.
• PRISA Grade B
• Have basic knowledge of Surveillance systems and investigation methods and detailed knowledge of Airside, Landside and Terminal operations

This position requires someone who is well organised and methodical with a high level of productivity, setting definite milestones for achieving goals.
