    Project Manager

    Job description

    YOU MUST BE:

    YOU MUST BE ABLE TO:

    Learn quickly, work fast, think big, deliver precisely, iterate, be lean, and prove yourself. Attention to detail and multi- tasking is a strength for you and you thrive on making things happen. You must be comfortable with Word, Excel, and Microsoft Projects or similar tool.

    WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO

    • Project Management
    • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives including a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
    • Track and report on progress and compliance of current projects in line with operational standards and service level agreements
    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
    • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs, using appropriate verification techniques
    • Understand the clinical process and establish, coordinate and maintain relationships with valuable internal and external stakeholders for the flawless execution of projects
    • Communicate effectively with team and external stakeholders - providing a clear vision of what determines success
    • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
    • Create and maintain effective project documentation
    • Deploy training and change management in the projects
    • Arbitrate and resolve conflict and interface with problems in the projects.

    Ensure that things get done:

    • Solve implementation problems on the go
    • Be quick to highlight issues or gaps when they are identified, mobilising the team to come up with solutions to ensure smooth implementation
    • Manage the people in the project effectively to ensure on time quality output (this will require management through good relationships)
    • Ensure that all people within the team, operating at all levels, are up to date on progress.

    Qualifications and experience required:

    • PMP / Prince II certification or similar qualification;
    • 5 years experience. Added advantage if minimum of 2 or more years experience of: setting up healthcare projects in the private healthcare sector or change management experience;
    • BEE candidate may be an added advantage.
