Key Performance Outputs

The successful candidate, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, will be responsible for the following:

• Compile, execute and manage the Financial Reporting Strategy of ACSA.
• Ensure external auditor execute responsibilities in line with the audit strategy
• Custodian of financial and related policies and procedures to ensure compliance to all regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Collate and present the annual financial statements for ACSA within agreed timelines.
• Oversee the year end process and oversee the preparation of financial statements and the timeous submission thereof.
• Manage the Finance Shared Services Centre to realise its strategic targets through efficient and effective processing of relevant transactions and for the company.
• Lead and direct reporting within ACSA
• Prepare, consolidate and integrate financial reports and narrative analysis to all relevant Boards and Regulatory Committees including quarterly reports to DOT.
• Oversee and review ACSA’s tax strategy and function including SARS submissions and returns, tax strategy, guidance and training and tax audits.
• Responsible for the sound and effective accounting systems throughout ACSA and ensure compliance through implementing sound financial controls to operate effectively.
• Manage relationships with External auditors and SARS

Technical Skills and Experience

The successful candidates must have the following:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is essential.
• 7 years post article Financial Management/reporting experience is essential
• 4 years Financial Management experience is essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office at Advanced level
• Proficiency in ERP at Intermediate level
