Key Performance Outputs

The successful candidate, reporting to Senior Manager Enterprise Security will be responsible for the following:

• Implement security master plan in line with group technology strategy.
• Develop, implement and manage the overall enterprise technology process for security strategy and associated architecture and engineering standards.
• Effective and efficient management and control of the permit issuance process and complete integration of access control, CCTV, PIDS, Alarms and sub systems system.
• Lead, monitor and operate per ICAO, NKP and SACCA and other relevant legislation and all ACSA policies and procedures.
• Develop technical specification for the appointment of security technology nationally.
• Provide input into security budget.
• Analysis of relevant information to pro-actively identify potential threats and interferences to security systems.
• Plan, organize, lead and control subordinate’s activities to ensure sub-functional objectives are met or exceeded.
• Provide technical or professional support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of functional and organizational objectives.

Technical Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such, will be required:

• The successful candidate must be in possession of a relevant Bachelor Degree with 8 years’ security technology operations experience.
• 5 years of People and stakeholder management is essential.
• The candidate should be abreast with security technology, systems and intelligence.
• Detailed knowledge of Airside, Landside and Terminal operations.
• Intermediate knowledge and experience of MS Office applications is required.
