Role Purpose

Software engineering manager with exemplary initiative skills who also likes to collaborate with their team is required for this tech centric company. The primary focus here is to work along side the team and drive performance & process efficiency of the team whilst simultaneously improving on the environment to bring out the best in everyone who works here.

What you'd be doing:

• Collaborate with CTO on creating a productive and positive environment
• Ensure quality output within each team by working hand in hand with the team leads
• Manage the recruitment process and find the right people to add to the existing team
• Take an active role in on boarding, training programmes and grad induction

What you'd need to be great at:

• 5+ years in development / management (open source environment combined with Agile approach)
• Experience with relational DB systems
• Exposure to revision control and build systems
• Issue tracking/management systems
• Not averse to occasionally help out on the development front
• Tertiary education which aligns with this sector (computer science, engineering etc)
