    Job description

    The Role

    To support Sandvik customer by actively promoting and selling Sandvik Aftermarket T&C products and services, with a view to expand sales, and to support Sandvik’s customers in as many aftermarket business opportunities as possible for a given sales area.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Operations Activities
    • Sell tools and consumables in a territory
    • Develop a sales and service plan for designated sales area
    • Assess technical issues with all Sandvik products and prepare/submit quotations for small to medium expenditure for account manager.Sell tools and consumables in a territorySell tools and consumables in a territory.Sell tools and consumables in a territory.Sell tools and consumables in a territory.

    Cost Effectiveness

    • Assess customer’s equipment performance and reliability via parts availability and services effectiveness to ultimately reduce operational cost for the customer.
    • Achieve budgeted revenue
    • Conduct monthly reviews of account status including but not limited to DSO and revenue.

    Sales Activities

    • Identify opportunities to sell Sandvik total offerings
    • Manage tender to contract signature with account management
    • Lead sales management( including best view on future demand)

    Safety, Health and Environmental Effectiveness

    • Comply with Sandvik SHEQ management system and the objectives and Target set.
    • Outlive the Sandvik EHS Policies, Vision, its Culture and Commitment & Responsibility
    • Create amongst his sub ordinates culture with regards to EHS.

    Your Profile

    • Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification
    • Relevant certificate/ Diploma in Sales and Marketing
    • Computer literacy(including relevant programs)
    • 5 years’ experience in a mining environment with specific exposure to rock tools.
    • 5 years’ experience in sales and marketing
    • 5 years’ experience in various mining applications
    • English proficiency
    • Willingness to travel.
