Responsibilities

• Responsible for conducting investigations without fear of reprisal or conflict of Interest
• Conduct all aspects of threat management, mitigation and investigations.
• Personally conduct investigations and interviews involving incidents relative to employee relations issues, physical harassment, threats of violence, theft, fraud, terrorism,bomb threats, assault, robbery, embezzlement and other significant security events.
• Responsible for the conduct of security investigations to include recording and documenting of all incidents upon notification of security investigation requirement to include (capturing of all physical, photographical, chemical, and biological evidence).
• Investigation team will report crime scenes, document and collect evidence, interview witnesses, interrogate suspects and maintain case files.
• Investigators will be mindful of proper evidence collection procedures and its importance in the development of thorough investigations.
• Ensure that all incidents are documented in Security Incident Management System (SIMS).
• Provide metrics and trends to management.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments in partnership with appropriate Operations Asset Managers.
• Manage third party Investigation service providers as appropriate.
• Respond to significant incidents/events.
• Assist with security emergency issues with operating elements of the corporation.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Provide input to security strategy development and target setting based on own specialist knowledge and intelligence analysis
• Deliver expert support in own area of competence
• Translate business needs into security solutions
• Manage investigations according to the standards needed to meet internal and external requirements on the investigative process

Key Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor degree in a related field is required.
• 7 years Min of experience
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, Privacy, BCM and other management system standards
• Security investigation experience is a must
