Requirements

An Associate role has become available within the Banking and Finance practice area. The candidate should meet the criteria listed below:

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum one year experience in a transactional finance practice
• Law degree from recognised tertiary institution
• SA or English qualified and admitted attorney/solicitor

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Drafting, negotiating and reviewing finance and related agreements.
• Drafting and issuing legal opinions relevant to finance transactions.
• Advising funders and corporates on finance and/or restructuring transactions in South Africa and the rest of Africa.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients.
