Job Purpose

• To secure new clients for the Company by interacting with Standard Bank and SBFC, Liberty and Independent Financial Planners.
• To provide first class service to our clients and as such increase the Company’s market share in the area of fiduciary advice and service (estate planning, settlement and inter vivos trusts, wills, management agencies, etc.) to our target clients
• To simultaneously link this wherever possible to the promotion of banking and ancillary business within the Group.
• To market our company and its services throughout the channels and utilise the synergies between ourselves and your allocated channel to motivate the securement of profitable Will Nominations, agency deceased estates, trusts and managed agency business.
• Forster a more visible presence with our partners
• To drive the purpose why STL exist, which is to help preserve the dreams of one generation and advance the next.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Financial Performance:

• Achieve revenue target of R540 000
• Achieve 980 new wills target
• Achieve 306 will reviews
• Achieve 4 IFA contracts
• Cost awareness
• Maintain cell phone costs within a budget of R12 000
• Maintain travelling cost within a budget of R30 000

Staff Engagement

• Training and education of S&D staff
• Integration within the bigger STL business
• Collaborative internal opportunities
• Cultural awareness
• Contribute with the successful delivery of Ghost Draft in H1

Client Engagement

• Training and education of customers, intermediaries and planners
• Ensure the achievement of agreed service measurement targets
• Adhere to the Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles

Group Collaboratio and Cross Selling

• Establish a structured calling program
• Timely attend to leads provided
• Education of partners
• Manage channel sensitivity
• Customer education program and customer forums (subject specific)
• Hold seminars with partners/planners
• Engagement with channel partners to explore gaps and constraints

Governance, Risk and Compliance

• Establish and maintain satisfactory risk and governance measures
• Ensure acceptable results for all audits, reviews and related assessments
• All relevant compliance and governance issues adhered to
• All risks are mitigated
• 5% Failed Legalities of annual budget
• 10% Unsigned Wills of annual budget
• 10% Rejected application of annual budget
• Upskilling of partners in the delivery of the correct advice

Preferred Qualification And Experience

• Matric
• Relevant Tertiary qualification, CFP, BComm, LLB
• 5 – 7 years Fiduciary Industry experience
• 1 – 2 years in a Managerial position and leading a team

Knowledge/Technical Skills/Expertise

• 5 – 7 years Fiduciary Industry experience
• 1 – 2 years in a Managerial position and leading a team
