Role Summary

The role will be to serve as a Project Leader / Project manager role to manage any small to medium and complex projects, either mono or multi-disciplinary for the Resources & Manufacturing Unit, based in Tshwane. The incumbent will require to work in Durban either for short or long periods

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Client facing
• Project Leader role to integrate all services and act as point of contact with client, contractor and other members of the professional team
• Prepare scope and fee proposals
• Undertake project risk assessments and /or participate in them
• Prepare project programmes and manage progress
• Monitor and manage technical team leaders
• Coordinate between consultants’ design team and client operational team

KEY QUALITIES AND SKILLS:

• Public/private infrastructure/building infrastructure design in the Oil& Gas industry
• Management of mainly mechanical and piping projects but knowledge of other disciplines important
• Experience in Oil and Gas services design essential
• Project and/or Programme management experience is key
• Project administration, cash-flow planning, drawing up of project implementation plans, monthly reporting etc.
• To act as Project Leader and coordinate between disciplines as well as consultant client communication
• Experience in working in an operation environment essential

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• 10 – 15 Years of working experience
• BSc Eng Mech or Elect
• Pr.Eng
• PMP
• MS Office suite
• MS Projects
