Key responsibilities

•  Create WordPress themes and plugins
•  Ability to work closely with the UI Designers to translate their UI designs into pixel-perfect code
•  Write technical specifications for projects
•  Create responsive newsletters and mailers which work across all mail clients
•  Set up, test and deploy mailers, including cross-browser testing and client testing
•  Accurately upload and publish content via the applicable CMS
•  Problem solve and efficiently resolve technical challenges with designers, editors and freelance developers when required
•  Regularly audit and perform QA on digital platforms to identify issues and ensure they are performing optimally, delivering according to targets

Requirements

•  Minimum one year relevant experience, preferably in a marketing, publishing or agency environment
•  Extensive knowledge of HTML5, CSS3
•  Solid experience with WordPress
•  Familiar with MailChimp, Everlytic and other email marketing tools
•  Experience with email client testing
•  Well versed in responsive mobile design
•  Proficiency in analysing web traffic tools, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
•  Able to turn data into clear strategic recommendations and explanations
•  Working knowledge of SEO best practices
•  Be collaborative, able to work with designers, SEO specialists and account managers
•  Organised and able to work under pressure to meet multiple deadlines 

Advantageous

 Experience measuring success of SEM/PPC and SEO campaigns/efforts

 Understanding of advanced web analytics methodologies such as experimentation and testing, competitive analysis, surveys and market research
