Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure overall profitability of Product offering
• Implement Product pricing reviews
• Act as subject matter expert and advisor to business on matters/issues related to the Product
• Engage and keep stakeholders informed on Product related matters
• Assist Business to resolve product related matters/issues
• Conduct market research relevant to the Product
• Identify Product related trends in the external environment (Political, Economic, Social, Technology, Environment and Legal)
• Liaise with internal stakeholders on Product requirements and align product strategy with Group business strategies

Identify opportunities/issues

• Develop and design Product strategy
• Communicate Product strategy to business and engage stakeholders thereon
• Implement/Operationalise Product strategy
• If necessary influence industry to suit/cater for strategy
• Monitor success/effectiveness of Product strategy. Amend where/when necessary

Essential Qualifications

• BCom Finance or other related qualification. 
• Technical Competencies

• SAS/SQL queries development
