Our client is a prominent retailer in the LSM 1-3 market

The position is based in their  Westville head office in Durban.

They are seeking a dynamic  individual to supervise and perform risk-based Internal Audits of their operational and financial business processes.

With a direct reporting line to  Internal Audit Management, the role includes:

• Developing and implementing Internal Audit plans for designated areas of responsibility
• Identifying key business risks
• Project managing, coordinating and executing risk-based audits
• Liaising with senior client and audit management
• Reporting the audit results to senior management

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Appropriate auditing experience
• Risk and control knowledge
• Understanding of business processes and functions
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain client relatonships
• Team player, with ability to operate independently
• Professional attitude
• Related experience in a retail enviroment will be an added advantage.
