Core purpose: To assess and fulfill the dreams of children identified with life-threatening illnesses  between the ages of 3-18, within the specified region – Eastern Cape, East London.

Role requirements and outcomes:

• Individual Dream Fulfillment
• Weekly visits to hospitals and clinics
• Weekly assessments
• Weekly dream fulfillment
• General outings
• Conduct dream assessments according to process set out in operations manual
• Discuss with Dream Coordinator on a weekly basis and decide on dream as well as fulfillment process
• Conduct dream fulfillment
• Ensure that all documentation is completed and handed in
• 5 assessments per week (Roughly 20 assessments a month)
• 1 dream fulfilled per week (4 dreams per month)
• 6 general outings per annum

PRO and Marketing

• Regular visits to wards and doctors within the region to market the Foundation
• Maintain up-to-date hospital lists
• Build relationships with existing hospitals and clinics
• Source new hospitals and clinics
• Distribution of Dream Talk newsletter to role players

Planning and Administration

• Ensure all assessment forms are captured correctly
• Ensure all reports are compiled on dreams
• Adequate and timeous planning of dreams
• Adhere to budget on dreams
• Provide dream feedback, photos and all invoices pertaining to dreams to the Branch Manager
• Ensure all dreams are captured correctly on EVO
• Weekly feedback

Knowledge and Skills:

• Computer literacy – able to work on Evolution system
• Code 08 and professional driving permit
