    Employment Attorney

    Job description

    Shepstone & Wylie's established Employment Law team is seeking a Mid-Senior Labour lawyer to join their Johannesburg branch.

    Job Description:

    • Advise on all types of labour law including strikes and lock-outs, collective bargaining, unlawful competition and restraint of trade;
    • Advise on and represent clients in all forms of disputes, ranging from unfair dismissals and labour practices to organisational rights and collective agreements;
    • Advise on wide-ranging employment issues relating to large-scale restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, redundancies, business transfers and collective disputes;
    • Provide advice and guidance on the holding of internal company disciplinary enquiries and appeals

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Must have an LLB
    • Admitted Attorney, with at least 6 years PQE in Employment / Labour Law
    • The salary offered is market related and based on the candidate's experience.
