Provide a high quality Occupational Therapy service to patients and carers of the Maitland Hospital to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for patients of the service.
Qualifications recognised for registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia and general registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
Demonstrated clinical experience in a general inpatient acute setting, in the provision of therapeutic activities to enhance occupational performance, and in the prescription of home modifications and equipment.
Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit the target audience.
Demonstrated ability to independently problem-solve and set priorities in complex situations. Demonstrated experience in and commitment to continuous quality improvement in service delivery.
Demonstrated computer literacy in a range of applications related to clinical work.
Eligibility to drive in NSW and the ability and willingness to travel for work purposes which may involve driving long distances.
