Job Description

Bosch Projects, a member of the multi-disciplinary Bosch Holdings established in 1961, has an opportunity for a Civil Engineer. This position will be based in the Cape Town Office and reporting directly to the Regional Director.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Support the Lead Engineer in design functions and construction monitoring
• Perform engineering functions efficiently in support of the project planning and / or design team
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
• Ensure compliance with Bosch Projects ISO 9001/2008 QMS System
• Ensure that Quality Standards are achieved and maintained.

The ideal Candidate should:

• Have a BEng Civil Engineering / B TECH: Engineering: Civil (Urban or Transport) / N.Dip (civil)
• Be registered or in the process of registering as a Professional Engineer/Technologist with ECSA
• Have own transport and valid driver’s license
• Have a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in the design, specifications and standards of Municipal Engineering Services, focusing predominantly on road and storm water network designs and bulk earthworks and platform designs
• Have experience in contract administration and construction monitoring.
• Be capable of functioning as part of a project team.
