Malinco Foods is looking for a young and enthusiastic Bookkeeper who’s passionate about finance and keen to join an innovative foods business based in Westlake, Cape Town.

Key responsibilities

• Bank Reconciliations
• Debtors and Creditor processing and reconciliation
• Monthly management reporting to MD
• Petty cash, Credit cards
• Completion of Statutory Returns (VAT, PAYE, PROVISIONAL TAX and or any other) as well as the calculation thereof.
• Processing of journals, and audit journals
• Daily capturing of invoices
• Debt reporting to management
• Intercompany recharges and reconciliation
• Loading payments, keeping track of bank balances
• Tax calculations
• Projections and budget planning
• Monthly cash flow
• Inventory basic control knowledge

Minimum requirements

• BComm in Accounting
• 2-3 years accounting or audit experience
• Completed or 3rd year SAIPA articles (advantageous)
• Advanced Pastel knowledge
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work with little supervision
• Ability to prioritise and multi-task
• Able to supervise accounting projects

Remuneration

Cost to company of between R12,000 and R15,000 per month based on relevant qualification and experience.
