Job Description

POSITION SYNOPSIS:

To supervise a team of people and ensure safe and cost effective Blasting at an operational team level.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Serious contenders will have a Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science, a blasting certificate and a minimum of 2 years working experience in mining and Strata 2;
- Experience as a Miner will be essential.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Safely execute blast;
- Compiling blasting reports;
- Ensure blasts are communicated mine wide and check if external stakeholders were engaged prior blasting.
