You Will

•  Work in a professional and comfortable work environment where the core focus is on learning, growth, knowledge sharing, teamwork and collaboration;
•  Work in a team with other .NET and developers within boundaries of strict project deadlines;
•  Be exposed to all major Microsoft technologies and excellent training opportunities both internally and externally (this exposure also occurs through the different engagement models being project-based development, placements, outsourced teams and support and enhancement engagements);
•  Either be based at the Head Office or at a customer site; and,
•  Need to be willing to do business travel to customer sites as per business requirements.

Job Requirements

You must have a Grade 12 Senior Certificate (Matric) and it would be great if you have a relevant university computer science degree or equivalent.

When It Comes To Experience You Need

•  3 years’ experience developing code in C# and ASP.NET;
•  2 years’ experience developing in ASP.NET MVC;
•  2 years’ HTML, JQUERY and JavaScript experience;
•  2 years' Transact-SQL (Stored procedures, views and triggers) experience;
•  Proficiency in technical high-level design; and,
•  Proven experience in the implementation of software design patterns.

You must have knowledge of:

•  C# and .NET;
•  ASP.NET and MVC;
•  SQL Server;
•  HTML, JQUERY and JavaScript;
•  ORM’s (such as Entity Framework or nHibernate);
•  Working in an Agile (Scrum) environment;
•  Application of technology in solving business problems; and,
•  A solid understanding of software design patterns and principles.

Lastly, you need to be willing to work overtime when required and to do business travel to customer sites as and when required.
