Role Description:

• Technical management of White, Black, Colour and Additive Masterbatches in a range of polymer carriers
• Overall responsibility for Masterbatch formulation, and related procurement & R&D processes
• Coordination between other management positions, for example the Production Manager, Laboratory Manager, QC, Sales Team – providing specialist technical and strategic input when required
• Overseeing the delivery of cost effective formulations
• Providing technical support for existing products
• Developing new products and providing input regarding the technical service and sales for new products
• Assisting clients with trouble shooting, whose conversion methods vary from Injection Moulding, Film Extrusion, Blow Moulding etc

Role Requirements:

• BSc (or similar) in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering etc
• At LEAST 10-15 years’ experience in a Technical Management role.

Experience in the following fields would be beneficial:

• Plastics conversion (Injection Moulding / Blow Moulding / Film / Roto Moulding etc)
• Polymer chemistry and their respective applications
• Pigments and colour development
