    Sr. Business Development Manager

    Job Description

    Indicative Designation: SR. BDM- South Africa

    Position Objective : Responsible for developing, implementing and meeting sales plans and forecasts for the organisation in order to develop and grow the business to meet revenue/ volume targets and would have complete function/national responsibility for South Africa.

    Reports To: Business Head-Africa

    Supervises: Individual contributor

    Territory/ Products Handled : South Africa / All Newgen Products

    Responsibilities

    • Primary ( what he/she does 80% of the time)
    •  Defines and implements sales / revenue strategy. Responsible for driving revenues from South Africa.
    •  Creating a strategic road map and setting goals & milestones for South Africa sales team
    •  Ideation, Conceptualization of business opportunities that lead to new lines of revenue generation.
    •  Manages the branches and is responsible for achieving the South Africa sales quota.
    •  To develop and implement a business strategy, a business plan and a sales strategy to achieve business objectives for a specific mid-size territory.
    •  Maintains effective business relationships with senior management and, on occasion, influences client executive management
    •  Ensures all targets with respect to collections are fulfilled
    •  Interfaces with the senior management on key accounts
    •  Works closely with the marketing team to achieve desired market positioning
    •  Paving the road map for South Africa as a future SBU/Division with independent P&L
    • Unique Knowledge & Skill Requirement
    •  Has complete understanding and is the acknowledged authority in his domain area
    •  Has in-depth understanding of Business and Market conditions that drive business.
    •  High degree of People Management Skills.
    •  Skills to facilitate inter personal and inter department work issues.
    •  Driving common interest with effective problem solving skills
    •  Extremely good negotiation skills and communication skills.

    Qualification & Experience : Engineer and or MBA with 12-15 years of experience

    •  Prospective Clients
    • Operating Environment : Largely Unsupervised.
