Clinical Psychologist (Half-Day) at Nurture Health

Job description

JOB EXPECTATION:

• Provide psychological interventions to patients and families in acute hospitals.
• Assessment, treatment, support and ongoing evaluation of patients on an out-patient basis.
• Liaising with a wide range of patients, families and other professionals to plan and direct patient care during the rehabilitation process.
• Accurate and concise report writing and ability to communicate, within a team approach, all relevant information to ensure continuation of care.
• To be a source of expertise and advice for support staff.
• Available to work on a weekend / public holiday on rotation

QUALIFICATIONS / TRAINING

• Qualified Clinical Psychologist with a Masters Degree in Psychology
• Current HPSCA registration.
• 2 year experience as Clinical Psychologist within the medical industry advantageous.
• Knowledge of a range of complex medical and neurological conditions advantageous.
