SEO Manager at Benchmark Digital

Job description

We are on the lookout for a (very) talented organic search marketing professional to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate must have the ability to develop an organic search marketing strategy, aligned to our clients’ business goals, with clearly defined KPI’s. The SEO manager will liaise with content, development and social departments to execute the game plan. Accurate measurement and clear progress reporting to our clients is key in daily, weekly and monthly SEO task management.

The Skills

• Ability to think creatively, strategically and identify and resolve problems
• Matric
• Degree in Marketing or equivalent diploma preferred
• Google analytics certification
• Minimum 5 years organic search marketing experience
• In-depth knowledge of all SEO fundamentals and principles (both on-site and off-site)
• Technical understanding of SEO factors
• Solid experience working with industry leading SEO tools
