    Sales Account Manager

    Job Description

    The Sales Account Manager is the primary interface for the customer accounts, including business and administration coverage. She/He is accountable for all the revenue streams in his account.

    A week in the life of a Sales Account Manager:

    • Animate the Account Team to ensure sales consistency: Centralize and communicates any relevant information, coordinates meetings and minutes;
    • Identify new opportunities and position Gemalto as a key partner within the global account;
    • Coordinate Gemalto tenders’ answers;
    • Establish high-level strategic relationships with the global account. Identify the main contacts and decision makers. Facilitate the creation of the relevant relationship for the appropriate Gemalto resource;
    • Interface with various resources within the Business Units to ensure the customer’s needs are fully addressed and that the appropriate resources are allocated in due time to the account;
    • Create and implement an actions follow up process at the customer;
    • Collaborates with the Solution Sales Manager to set up project strategies (pricing, risk analysis, Go/No go);
    • Follows the project implementations, set up a crisis management plan (if necessary);
    • Provide the account with product evolution inputs and roadmap definition;
    • Ensure the relevant market information are communicated internally in Gemalto;
    • Has a good knowledge of the third parties working in his account to create the relevant synergies.

    Experience, skills & qualifications:

    • To succeed at this job, you must have: Knowledge of Telecom or IT market segment.
    • It would be preferred if you have tertiary qualification as plus.
    • You must be fluent in Portuguese and English.
    • You must have good oral and written communication skills, business/result orientated, with good negotiation skills, and sensitive to customer satisfaction. Autonomous, assertive and with a leadership mindset.
    • We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years' experience in Telecom or IT segments, with at least 3 -5 years' experience in sales management.
    • You should be available for travel in Africa (up to 70% travel).
