    Sales Coordinator

    Job description

    Main tasks:

    • Provide assistance to internal sales personnel and customers by acting on requests such as tenders, quotes, sample requests, price related queries, marketing material and other sales related activities that will support the sales team in achieving their targets.
    • Assist in the development of presentations
    • Prepare support material for sales calls; contact customers; perform internet research, system maintenance as well as mailings and mail merges; handle sales rep follow-up calls; perform general administrative tasks
    • Assist in updating internal forecasts
    • Create and generate reports and develop presentations for sales meetings
    • Work closely with internal departments to ensure responsiveness to all customer requests and issues
    • Ensure that sales templates are up to date and current at all times
    • Prepare timely quotes for customers

    Requirements:

    • Matric certificate essential
    • Commercial/Technical Qualification preferable
    • Ability to work well within a team
    • Advanced computer knowledge and excellent communication skills (English)
    • Ability to work unsupervised and meet tight deadlines
    • A feel for commercial matters coupled with a good eye for details
