Job Description
Dial a Nerd is seeking a desktop/network technician in the Durban area. This person will be required to visit our customers in Durban, Pinetown, Pietermaritzburg and Umhlanga and assist our Joburg based helpdesk with on-site support. Strong desktop skills are required as well as basic to intermediate networking skills. Ie. Router, switch and firewall configuration abilities.
Excellent communication skills, strong troubleshooting capabilities, self-managed and good time management. Driven to achieve more than the average. You will have to have your own car and license and be comfortable tackling an array of different jobs in different environments while managing user expectations clearly and efficiently.
Salary- R10,000 to R15,000 excluding full travel reimbursement.
