    Oncology Rehabiliation Coordinator

    Job description

    The Position

    St John of God Bendigo Hospital has an opportunity available for current Caregivers who hold Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist registration with AHPRA to apply for the role of Oncology Rehabilitation Coordinator.

    Reporting to the Allied Health Chief, the successful candidate will act as a resource person to all staff working in the Oncology Rehabilitation Program, in order to provide a quality Oncology Rehabilitation Service to each patient and their family.

    This position will initially be offered on a Casual basis, however fixed term contracts may be offered to cover periods of extended leave.

    The Successful Candidate Will Have

    • Ability to work within and contribute to the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
    • Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist.
    • Broad clinical experience in acute and post-acute care of the oncology patient.
    • Experience in administering oncology education programs.
    • Ability to educate patients, family and staff.
    • Commitment to on-going education and self directed learning.
    • Effective communication, planning, analytical, team work, delegation and motivational skills.
